SUMMARY *** PlaySite has a plethora of online, Java-based games, most of a very high quality. In games that allow more than 2 players, PlaySite uses a tabbed panel that displays the games you can join, and the games in progress. This panel is not visible in Mozilla using Java Plugin 1.0b2 STEPS TO REPRODUCE *** 0-) Start Mozilla, and go to http://www.playsite.com 1-) Click on "Scrabble" (in the orange WORD games box) 2-) Click on a lobby. The applet should load in a new window. 3-) Note that in the interface, everything works great, except that the "AVAILABLE GAMES" area is nothing but a gray box. EXPECTED RESULTS *** Should be able to select a game to join or watch from a tabbed panel in the location of that empty gray box. REGRESSION *** This has not worked on Mac OS X, with any build of the Java PlugIn. It also does not work in IE. No regression. WORKAROUND *** You can start your own game, and wait for others to join in, OR you can be invited into a game by another user. NOTES *** Since this does not work in either Mozilla or IE, I am led to believe that this is Apple's bug in MRJ/JRE. The panel *was* visible in IE on Mac OS 9.

Sorry... forgot to add this part... CONFIGURATION INFORMATION *** CPU : PowerBook G4 550 RAM : 512 MB HD : 6.3 GB Free OS : Mac OS X v10.1.3 uname : Darwin Kernel Version 5.3 MozType : FizzillaCFM BuildID : 2002031107 Java : JavaVM.framework 1.3.1, MRJPluginCarbon 1.0b2 Net : Cable Modem (async 1.5M / 128k), Airport
Confirmed using FizzillaCFM/2002041712 (RC1), but it doesn't work using IE, either, so this is probably a problem between the applet and MRJ. The applet certainly generates some errors on the Java Console.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Using the 2002-10-11-04 trunk build under 10.2.1, the java applet appears correctly and is functional.
Marking WFM using the 2002-10-14-05 branch under 10.2.1
