Details

They seem to contain actual passwords which isn't great to show. This never happened before.
On https://twitter.com/account/reset_password it autocomplete to a username that I have saved password for.
Right, this was implemented in bug 1289913. Bug 1129629 and bug 1189618 will hopefully make this more obviously intentional.

On https://www.patreon.com/login I'm seeing it autocomplete with the actual text of a password.

So if you open about:preferences#security and click on "Saved Logins…" do you see that password in the "Username" column?

No that password is not in the username column of any sites. It also looks like I cannot reliably reproduce it. Is there some investigation I can do if it happens to me again?

Do you have e10s on or off when you can reproduce this? There is another report in bug 1326022.

It's possible that logging from signon.debug=true could be useful. Maybe even browser.formfill.debug=true. See https://wiki.mozilla.org/Toolkit:Password_Manager/Debugging

If it's false then this is a dupe of bug 1329351.

signon.rememberSignons is currently true. However, I haven't seen this recently.

Okay, and what about comment 6? Do you have e10s on or off? I think it would be useful to flip the two prefs in comment 6 in case you see this again.

Re-open if you can still reproduce this in Nightly with the fix from bug 1329351 even if you don't have STR.
