Hi Niraj,

I try to reproduce your issue but I can't. I followed the steps from description and everything works as expected. I tested on Windows 8.1 with FF 50 release version.

Can you please create a new profile, you have the steps here:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Please test if the issue can be reproduced in the safe mode of Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

Note: To simulate the internet connection going down I turned off and turned on.

Moving to p3 because no activity for at least 1 year(s).
See https://github.com/mozilla/bug-handling/blob/master/policy/triage-bugzilla.md#how-do-you-triage for more information
Priority: P2 → P3

Unfortunately, without more information, we're unlikely to be able to have resolved this. I've not heard of this issue elsewhere so marking this as incomplete.
