- Latest Developer Edition 52.0a2
- Latest Nightly 53.0a1

[Affected platforms]:
- Ubuntu 16.04 32bit
- Mac OS X 10.12.1
- Windows 10 64bit

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Start Firefox
2. Navigate to http://www.free.fr/freebox/
3. Move mouse cursor to navigation menu from the left side of the page
4. Move mouse cursor back to webpage content
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 a few times and leave the cursor somewhere in-between during transition

[Expected result]:
- The menu sticks to a position (minimized/maximized).

[Actual result]:
- The menu enters a loop and it keeps bouncing.

[Regression range]:
- This is hot a recent regression, it reproduces on Firefox 4.0 as well.

- I'll also Fx51 affected even though Beta it's not out yet, because it's repro on all other builds.

This is indeed hot as in brand new bug, but it sure is NOT a regression :)

I think this is likely an issue of the website. It seems to me this is reproducible on Chrome as well.

On Chrome it only bounces one or two times and then it stops to a position. On Firefox the bounce goes into a continuous loop.

To me, the panel bouncing design is quite odd here since it's accumulated when you quickly move the cursor in and out the menu panel. Before getting further, we will need a reduced test case to address the root cause.
