Details

We should be monitoring the size of fielddata in DD and alerting above a threshold. We can probably get this from the api, or http://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/elasticsearch/

There are some issues with this right now, mostly that it doesn't appear like the ES cluster is properly sending data to Datadog. The two relevant dashboards are: https://app.datadoghq.com/dash/integration/elasticsearch_timeboard https://app.datadoghq.com/screen/integration/elasticsearch The cluster size on the ES dashboard is 1, and there is a lot of data missing. Looking into this.
