Steps to reproduce:

0. Install firefox 50 on Windows/Linux
1. Write few rows in excel/libreoffice calc
2. Go to jira => 6.4.12
3. Try paste this rows on comment 


Actual results:

Jira detect that you paste screenshot and add screenshot to comment. 


Expected results:

In version 49 i have text, that same like as paste into notepad. Is possible to change this?

Hello Marcin, Thanks for the bug report. I tried reproducing this issue with exact steps you mentioned and if I understand this report clearly, I think this is expected behavior: If you only select text only, it will paste as text else if you select multiple rows it would paste as selected.  I see same behavior on Chrome, Firefox 49 and 50. It doesn't paste same as notepad.

Do you see different behavior on chrome and Firefox 49? Let us know your finding. Thanks!

Yes, when i copy multiple rows in firefox 50 and chrome i can paste screeshot. On firefox 49 on other computer and on IE on this i paste text. Members from my company after upgrade firefox to 50 reports this same issue.

Hello Marcin, I investigated more into this and I couldn't reproduce this issue with JIRA v6.4.12. Please see the video https://ranisharma22.tinytake.com/sf/MTIwMTYzMV80NjIzMTI5

In my comment 1 I tested with Atlassian Confluence 4.1.2 where I observe screenshot which is same behavior as on Chrome and IE.
 
Note: I don't see any behavior difference on Chrome,IE and Firefox with JIRA v6.4.12 and Atlassian Confluence 4.1.2

If possible can you please provide video of this bug comparing the behavior on IE and Firefox.  I would also request you to retest this with fresh profile & safe mode, and please provide your about:support info.
