1321383 - I am trying to log in on MDN but currently the only method is github login

Steps to reproduce:

I clicked on sign in link on this page:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/IndexedDB_API/Basic_Concepts_Behind_IndexedDB

I was logged in with github so I was shown the screen to fill in my profile, but I got a warning that my github username "karolk" is already taken. In fact I was using this on MDN before.


Actual results:

I wasn't able to use my mdn user profile: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/profiles/karolk
 


Expected results:

I would like to merge my github identity karolk with my MDN identity karolk.

Hi Karolk, 

If your GitHub email address is the same as your MDN profile email address you should see a yellow banner with a green button at the top of the account creation page which will allow you to link the two accounts. (pictured in step #4 here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Howto/Link_a_GitHub_account#Setting_up_GitHub_authentication)

That is the easiest but not the only way to connect your GitHub account.

If you are not seeing the button please reply here and we will use one of the other methods to connect you.
