User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 SeaMonkey/2.40 Build ID: 20160807101136 Steps to reproduce: I tried to watch a video on YouTube. Exactly Metal Church - Watch the Children Play music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3d_E5ngil8 . Every time I try it, SeaMonkey crashes. Some other videos playing correctly. The same happens on the http://24per7.hu and http://nlcafe.hu sites, but not all the articles, just some of them. Actual results: The browser crashes and sends error report to systemd. The report is attached. Expected results: Playing the video, showing the articles.
This works for me using 2.48 under Windows. 2.40 is now somewhat dated when it comes to html5 support. The official 2.46 is still not ready. You can try the latest 2.46 from Adrian and upgrade to the next official version when it shows up: https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~akalla/unofficial/seamonkey/nightly/latest-comm-release-linux64/ Please backup your profile if you want to go back to 2.40 later.
OS: Unspecified → Linux
2.46 is now out. Could you try with this one. If it still crashes please provide a crash report id. The stack trace alone is not sufficient.

2.40 is obsolete. If this happens again with 2.53.1 or greater please post a crash id.
