STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Firefox with a fresh profile
2. focus the location bar

ACTUAL RESULTS
The location bar's background changes from lighter-than-the-surrounding-grey color to
the-surrounding-grey color.
The location bar's border disappears.

EXPECTED RESULTS
No change in background color.
The border change color to indicate focus as usual for text input controls.

This is a regression in the last few days or so.
Does turning hardware acceleration off (and restarting) make a difference?

Disabling HW acceleration made no difference.
Looks like it was reported in bug 1322120 too, which has a patch, so duping forward.

Fixed in 53 in the duplicate bug.
