User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 Build ID: 20150801164621 Steps to reproduce: I set permissions.default.image to 2 to avoid loading of images. Actual results: No images are loaded and the ARIA description is shown instead. This works correctly. However, for HTML5 videos a preview picture is shown. The error occurs, for example on facebook.com Expected results: The HTML5 video preview picture should not be shown at all when permissions.default.image is set to 2.

No, 331257 is about data: URIs. My issue occurs with <video> tags, even if the resource is located by a https: URI. Other tags like <canvas> may also be affected. I will test this at home this evening.
