Steps to reproduce:

tried to sync the firefox account - entered email and PWD; and submitted

please note i am running this on my persona linux mint PC. it used to work couple weeks ago, possibly 2 months ago. no idea what happened - but since that time, i am not able to sync my linux FF with my corporate windoze 7 pc and my android phone, as well as with my wife's windoze 7 home PC... :-(

please help me out - i do not wanna change to chrome - those moles snitch all the time!!! :-)


Actual results:

red banner "Working..." is displayed and an progress indicator is turning endlessly


Expected results:

my bookmarks should have been synced

Thanks for the report!  Do you have the "never remember history" option set by any chance?  This may be the same bug as Bug 1319904.

Hi Ryan.
yup -that was the case. I have started FF to remember the history and that did the trick. THX.
please consider mentioning this in the official help pages of mozilla :-)

Great, glad you were able to get it working!  We have a fix for this that should ship within a week or two.
