Details
(Whiteboard: [necko-backlog])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161129173726
Steps to reproduce:
logged in to CapitalOne online banking services. Read message from the bank. Tried to delete read message, tried to edit part of account. I checked for any potential ways to allow full access in Preferences, but found nothing relevant. Even turned off tracking protection, but no effect. URL: https://secure.capitalone360.com
Actual results:
Error message appeared every time, spread over two days.
Expected results:
I tried using Safari and was able to delete the old messages without issue. Also able to edit part of my account without issue. There does not appear to be any security problem related to this. It just prevents me from using Firefox to fully access my CapitalOne online banking account. I have to switch browsers.

Hi D Link,
It will be hard for me to test this because I need an account to be able to do all the actions mentioned in your comment. I might have some suggestions that you can try out and see the results.
1. Please create a new profile, you have the steps here:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
2. Please test if the issue can be reproduced in the safe mode of Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
3. Another thing that you can do is to download the Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem.
4. You can reproduce this issue with FF 49 release? It can be downloaded from here http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/49.0/mac/en-US/
Thanks for reporting this.

Downloaded latest nightly build, but still failed. This is the "Investment" portion of Capital One, which used to be ShareBuilder. They added this on top of their Capital One 360 login, so there might be a problem on their end, though it works in Safari.
I also downloaded and tried versions 49.0 and 48.0, but the same issues exist.
Also tried safe mode, but it failed to allow me to edit messages.

In you description you said "error message appeared every time", can you please make a printscreen of that error and attached to this bug?
It is not a specific error message. Capital One simply redirects my request to another page with the following message (which does NOT appear when I use Safari):
----------------------------------------
Hey, where'd we put that?
Sorry. We looked all over the place, but we just can’t find the page you’re looking for. It appears the page has cashed in its retirement plan and moved on to greener pastures.
Tip: If you typed the address directly, you can always try it again. Otherwise, here are some of the most popular pages on our site.

From your comment I understand that when you go to Capitol One website and you are trying to delete, read message, edit part of account you are redirect to the page where the text from above appears, that is right?
That is correct. I am redirected to the "correct" page when I use Safari.

It will be very hard to investigate this but I think it has something to do with Networking. Let's see there opinion about this.
D Link can you please provide the link from the page where you are redirect?
Component: Untriaged → Networking
Product: Firefox → Core

D Link, can you please provide http logs? Go to about:networking and it's Logging section. Just "Start Logging" and reproduce the problem. The log may contain some private data, so feel free to send it to my bugzilla email. Thanks.

Oh, I forgot that feature is available so far only on Firefox Aurora and not Release. I presume you are on Release?
Then please use the following directions:

We don't have an account for the bank. It's up to you to provide the necessary info - in this case the log file. Thanks.
