Description

I installed Mozilla on my girlfriend's Windows 2000 laptop. She seems to like
it a lot, as she uses it as her default browser.
When I installed 0.9.9 though, I noticed a problem on exiting occured. If I
click the X on the titlebar, the program appears to lock. The only way to kill
from there is with the Process Manager.
Reporter:
Have you installed 0.9.9 over an older build ?
If not: Can you try a new profile ? (run "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an
additional test profile)

Yes, 0.9.9 was installed over 0.9.8. Is this a problem?
I'll create a test profile in the next day or two and see if this fixes
problems. I would really like to figure out why using the old profile may cause
this problem (we'll know if it causes after I test).
You should try to uninstall mozilla, delete all files that are not deletd by the
uninstalelr (save your plugins folder first) and reinstall mozilla.

If that doesn't work you should try it with a test profile.

Would uninstalling and reinstalling Mozilla remove her profile?
Easy answer : No ! (but a backup is never a bad idea !)
