I tried to recover the MDN account for [e-mail] via a GitHub login, but even though the MDN site says it sent an email, that did never arrive.

Given that I control the mail server(s) for kairo.at (both listed as MX are my servers), I can be pretty sure it didn't land in spam - I even looked at the logs and no email came in during that window (even though email works fine otherwise). It looks like it really wasn't sent out to me.

I have manually sent a recovery email, from "[e-mail]", to [e-mail]. Can you check if it was delivered?

None of my two servers say they received anything from that address in their logs :(

I've tested this by sending a recovery email to my own account, and it was delivered. Something strange is going on.

I've tried again by sending the email manually from my personal account. Did you get that recovery email?

I did receive it and the link in it has worked.

I'm sorry the automatic process didn't work. We'll keep our eyes open for issues with mail sent from [e-mail].
