Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161208153507

Steps to reproduce:

When replying to a previous email, the font, size and color revert to what was sent.

It would be a plus if the user could set the default font, size and color of the replied
text and have it stay all the time.

This has been broken for a while.

Actual results:

The font, size and color doesn't stay as set.

Expected results:

The user should have an option in the drop down box for the replies to set the font,
size and color that overrides everything else all the time. On every reply.

Version 45.5.1

HTML composition is a difficult problem.

Thunderbird has default font and colours, but they can get lost, when you click in areas of the composition where other fonts/colours are used.

Also, when replying to a CSS-based e-mail, the invisible CSS affects the newly entered text of the reply.

I don't think we have resources to improve this situation.
