If I haven't entered the master password yet, Firefox may open multiple master password dialogs, one on top of another, which need to be dismissed individually. This is easily reproduced by opening the Dropbox (when not logged in) or Reddit websites: the master password dialog may open up to four times on Dropbox or three times on Reddit.

In addition to being erroneous, this behavior can confuse users because the extra dialogs can give the impression that the master password was not entered correctly, regardless of whether it was indeed entered correctly.
Device:
 - LG G4 (Android 5.1)

Hello,

I was also able to reproduce this issue.

Preconditions:
 - have an account name and password saved for the websites;
 - set a master password.

STR:
1. Go to dropbox.com;
2. Observe behavior.

Actual results:
 The master password prompt appears several times regardless of the fact that the user entered the correct password or tapped on the "Cancel" button.

Expected Results:
 The master password prompt should only reappear if the user has entered the wrong master password.

Mass wontfix for bugs affecting firefox 52.
+1, this is pretty annoying and non-obvious behavior. On lwn.net, for example, I pretty much always get a second password prompt, even though I can see that the input[type="password"] field got filled after correctly entering my master password on the first prompt.

This issue has recently started happening to me: every time I open Firefox for Android, whether it is manually from launcher or via intent from some other app, I first get presented with like 6-10 master password prompts. This is much worse than what seems to be described above that it only happens for some sites for a few times. Having this happen renders Firefox for Android practically unusable if I have to cancel 10 password prompts just to see one link.

This should have higher priority. It's essentially a security deterrent, it indirectly could push people toward not using master password if they think it's broken or annoying.

It's still happening in the version I'm using.

Mozilla/5.0 (Android 8.0.0; Mobile; rv:67.0) Gecko/67.0 Firefox/67.0

This is really annoying. Request for password either must have some delays, if you click 'Cancel' or should not be blocking (i.e. show some small bar on top or bottom of browser).
