Saving and updating passwords via Firefox doesn't work of the two latest version of Firefox in Windows 10. After I mentioned this on Facebook in a status message to other people, others came to me stating of this same problem for them, as well, of an issue with Firefox saving password in Windows 10.

Additional pertinent information:
Firefox seems to be saving passwords on Linux (at least on Ubuntu 15.10 and 16.04.1 versions of Ubuntu). Just not on the last two versions/branches of Firefox on Windows 10.

Actually, this is probably a better spot for now.

Lol. Agreed. I should have put it there, but in my tired state, I had not. Thank you very much for doing that.

No problem! Thanks for filing. My comment wasn't directed at you - was just general commentary while I moved the bug. :)

Oh... Lol. Okay. Relieved that it wasn't. :) You're welcome.

Yeah, my apologies - I should have been more clear at the time.

It's okay. :) It happens. Sometimes, I lack common sense. That's why I hadn't known it was only a generalised comment, not also an instructional comment to me. Lol. I will try improving myself to gain more sense. :)

(You did nothing wrong. :) It was just my lack of common sense that couldn't tell that the comment was only a regular needed statement to all).

I see the same issue in Windows 7 as well after updating to Firefox version 52.2.0 (32 bit)

P1 for someone to investigate as this sounds quite bad. The only thing that could possibly be related is bug 1322673.

It's been there for a while and not a new regression in 54. Mark 54 won't fix.

April, did this problem end up getting resolved?
No sure, yet, as I have been in college working on my B.A. degree in the Engineering: Computer Science field. I can check on this, next week. Please send me a reminder to do this.
