mail indicator icon doesn't get mail

the mail indicator icon in the lower left of the browser and the mail window
does check for mail. If mail is found on server it changes to indicate that you
have mail, as it should. On click it only activates the mail window. It does not
retrieve mail.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.wait till you have mail on server
2.when mail icon changes, click it.
3. observe results.
Actual Results: Mail window activated but did not retrieve mail.
Expected Results: It should have retrieved mail.
You guys are doing a fantastic job. Don't let up now!
