This would be amazing! I'm not sure if users know this as a "card view page" but I would love to finally have Google results serve us the same web page UI as it does in Chrome and other places. Instead of just showing what we have right now.

Mike, do you know anything about that? Maybe this has come up before.

Typically this type of thing comes down to receiving (or not) Tier 1 content for whatever Google property is at hand. In the past we've been able to successfully ask Google to serve us the content that Chrome gets -- they seem mostly happy to do that when it doesn't involve bug fixes. Karl, can you do some testing to see if we can render these faithfully when spoofing as Chrome? If so, it would be cool to ask Google to just serve us the same content. :)

Keeping the needinfo here. So Mike is right here it is all about Tier1. I have a todo on my long list which is to assess for different Google properties if we are ready to ask Google to just send us the same thing. First impression is YES. But evil is always in the details, and we need to test a bit more thoroughly the details of the interactions. Note that their services send very customized experiences. For example iphone safari and android chrome do not exactly receive the same thing even if it seems similar in many ways.

This is also a duplicate of Bug 975444 (and Bug 1169928). I will follow up there.

* images.google.com https://webcompat.com/issues/1358 Tested and working with a Chrome UA on a mobile device with Firefox Android. I will ask Google to send us tier1 on Firefox Android. If there are any current bugs on Bugzilla which is related to sub-par User experience, add this bug as a blocker.
