[Affected versions]:
- latest Nightly 53.0a1 (2016-12-22)
- latest Aurora 52.0a2 (2016-12-22)
- 51.0b9 (20161219140923)
- 50.1.0 (20161208153507)

[Affected platforms]:
- Windows 8.1 x86
- Windows 10 x64

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Lanuch Firefox
2. Navigate to about:config and confirm that:
   * media.getusermedia.screensharing.allow_on_old_platforms is false;
   * media.getusermedia.screensharing.enabled is true
   * media.getusermedia.screensharing.allowed_domains is set to many different websites, including mozilla.github.io
3. Go to https://mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html
4. Open Windows Explorer or Microsoft Edge
5. Click the Application button and look for the application chosen in step 4

[Expected result]:
- The number of open windows shown in the share drop down correspond with the real number of open windows for the chosen application

[Actual result]:
- The sharing drop down displays incorrect number of open windows (e.g. for Windows Explorer, the drop down displays 5 windows instead of 1; for Microsoft Edge, the drop down displays 2 windows instead of 1)

[Regression range]:
- This issue is not a recent regression, as is reproducible all the way back to Firefox 42

[Additional notes]:
- The issue is not reproducible on Mac and Ubuntu platforms
Ilulia does this only happen with Windows Explorer and Edge or with all applications?

No, this issue doesn't happen with all applications. Until now, I found just 3 applications that generate this situation: Windows Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Skype.
Flags: needinfo?(iulia.cristescu)
Edge does something Very Funky with windows; there are other issues with sharing Edge (starting with the area edge is displayed in is marked as not part of the application, and areas it *isn't* displayed in are marked as part of the application (and visible).

We can ping Shijun, though it's really not his direct area.
Rank: 25 → 22
Upped priority based on the Edge sharing issues; the "number of windows" shown being wrong would be p2/29 probably
Mass wontfix for bugs affecting firefox 52.
Mass change P2->P3 to align with new Mozilla triage process.
Priority: P2 → P3
Severity: normal → S3
