- Firefox 52.0a2 (2016-12-22), Firefox 53.0a1 (2016-12-22)

[Affected platforms]:
- Ubuntu 16.04x64, Windows 8.1x86, Mac 10.12.1

[Steps to reproduce]:
Prerequisites: Make sure that devtools.responsive.html.enabled pref is set to true.

1. Launch Firefox.
2. Search for an available string from the displayed page. 
3. Enable RDM.

[Expected result]:
- The searched string is still displayed in the search bar and it's also highlighted in the displayed page.

[Actual result]:
- The string does not remain highlighted on the displayed page.

[Regression range]:
- This is not a regression since the issue is reproducible also on Firefox 47.0a1 (2016-02-03).

Hmm, for me it seems to stay highlighted, at least on macOS.  Can you attach a GIF / video of what you are seeing?

Here is a GIF with the issue. 
I've also been able to reproduce this issue on Mac OS X 10.11.6.
Please let me know if I can help you with any other information.
