Changing themes using 'View > Apply theme'
Crash when changing from Classic to Modern (TB303355M)
Upon restart, Mozilla had applied theme change.
Attempted to swap back again - crashed (TB303685M).
Once again, after restart, change had taken effect.

stephend -- Any chance you could look up the talkback data?  I suspect this is a
duplicate of bug 121055 or another one of the theme switching crashers.

Both incidents are blank, and it's not clear to me exactly why.

I was having trouble getting the talkback server to talk to me - this could be
the problem.

Symptoms:
* Talkback made a connection to server (small amount of data sent - a few
hundred bytes IIRC) and recieved response.
* Talkback attempted to make second request (presumably the one containing the
crash data - the request was about 80K). Proxy server showed request going out,
but no response.
* Talkback gives up after 30 secs or so, and tells me to check my proxy server
settings.
* Repeat for an hour or two.

I tried all sorts of things including bypassing the proxy server entirely, but
no joy. Eventually, it just worked!

I'll try to reproduce in a minute, and see if Talkback works this time.

Currently, I couldn't reproduce the crash while switching themes from modern to 
classic or classic to modern back and forth more than 10 times. Select Edit 
>View > apply theme... (windows 98: commercial netscape build: 
2002-03-22-09-TRUNK).
We used to have serveral bugs about this problem, and here is the bug number:

For comment #4, what build were you using?  Bug 121055 was fixed yesterday.

Same build: 2002031104. I'll try a more recent build later. I've just done it
again (Modern->Classic) and got a crash (TB4376985E), but switching back worked OK.

Well, so far on 2002032203 all seems hunky-dory (apart from bug 132986). Marking
worksforme, will reopen if I get it to happen again.

Stephen, please let me know if you need any more info regarding the empty
talkback incidents in comment 2 (apart from what I already said in comment 3). I
got the same problem in comment 7, but it worked OK a few mins later (no
configuration changes in the meantime).
