The pixel devices  connected to autophone-1 are experiencing disconnections where the devices go into the offline state. powertop and toggling autosuspend and rebooting does not help.

The other pixel we've had problems with is pixel-07 which is FA6A10318917           device usb:11-2.4

One possibility is that this problem is related to the usb hub 11-2 since most of the problematic devices are connected to it.

Another possibility is due to the older version of adb we are using (1.0.32) instead of the most recent (1.0.36). Unfortunately, Autophone failed with a recent 1.0.36 version and I'll have to resolve that before we can use a newer version of adb.

I've also heard anecdotal evidence that this might be due to the usb mode on the device.

For each pixel 01..10:
Settings
-> Developer Options
----> Select USB Configuration
-------> Charging

Reboot

Ping me before you go into the office and when you are ready.

Van set the usb connections to be charging for all Pixels and rebooted them after which they all showed as devices. I rebooted the server and all devices initialized when Autophone started. We are ok for the moment, but there are latent issues such as recent adb support and perhaps Android issues we may need to deal with but for now this is fixed thanks to the awesome Van!
