1326592 - Firefox blocks Sony Xperia's physical camera button if web page open

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.0; F8331 Build/39.2.A.0.374) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.91 Mobile Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

On xperia xz updated to nougat, open firefox web browser. then push xperia's external camera  hardware button. 


Actual results:

xperia's external camera button does not work with firefox. On other app like Chrome,  camera button activates camera app. 


Expected results:

When I push camera button,  camera app should be appeared.

This reproduces here across branches (Sony Xpera Z3 Compact, Android 6.0.1)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have Firefox open.
2. Open a web page.
3. Long press the physical camera button.
Actual result: Nothing happens.
Expected result: Camera opened.
4. Close the tab (will take you back to the start page).
5. Long press the physical camera button.
Actual and expected result: Camera opened.

Does Firefox think the camera request got initiated by the web page?

Confirmed also on Sony Xperia Z3+ on Android 7.1.1, Firefox 59.0.2.
