Drag and drop the url by 20px to the right AR: The page reloads, so all typed text is lost ER: Step 4 is a trap and shouldn't be possible, because it's too easy to do this accidentally STR_2: (references of good behavior) 1. Open https://ya.ru/ 2. Type "asdf" in the search field on the page 3. Type " " at the end of url displayed in urlbar. Select all text (" 4. Drag and drop the url by 20px to the right AR: Step 3 - "https://ya.ru/ " is selected. The page does NOT reload, just as expected. Note: The bug is marked as "New", because comparison between STR_1 and STR_2 makes it obvious that current behavior is illogical.

Doesn't sound so easy and it may be expected outcome. Unclear whether preventing this would be worth its cost.
