>>> My Info: Win7_64, Nightly 53, 32bit, ID 20161212030206 (2016-12-12) STR_1: 1. Open huge image, like attached "testcase 1" 2. Quickly drag and drop the image between 2 tabs in tabs toolbar AR: Image preview doesn't appear immediately, and "drop" action is unavailable until preview appears ER: Either X or Y X) Image preview should appear immediately, to avoid blocking "drop" action Y) Preview should appear with whatever delay, but "drop" action should be available from the start @ Firefox developers, in case there's no duplicates: I understand that there're 2 bugs, but they're mutually exclusive (i.e. only 1 needs to be fixed), so please first decide what bug you want to fix first, and fix it in this bug report. Then open follow-up If you really need a separate, tell me to file follow-up to avoid scenario when people file some bugs as if it was they who carefully detected the bug and created reliable STR. In case blocking "drop" action for user is intended UX on Firefox, tell that explicitly (to avoid further misunderstanding) and close this as "wontfix".
Component: Untriaged → Drag and Drop
Product: Firefox → Core
No longer blocks: 1277113
Can you try this again with a build with 1309596 fixed?
Oh wait, never mind. This is large image dragging in e10s. We probably have a bug on that somewhere.
>>> My Info: Win7_64, Nightly 53, 32bit, ID 20161229030206 (2016-12-29) Reproducible. Have I mentioned that after I release left mouse button and wait, mouse pointer blinks: it becomes "not-allowed" for a fraction of second, then becomes "default" again. I assume that in that very moment browser finishes creating drag-n-drop preview, but left mouse button is already released, therefore no "drop" action happens.

Bulk-downgrade of unassigned, untouched DOM/Storage bug's priority.

If you have reason to believe, this is wrong, please write a comment and ni :jstutte.
