Try to access the list of recently bookmarked links AR: Recently bookmarked are no longer accessible in bookmarks sidebar and Library ER: Recently bookmarked should be accessible in bookmarks sidebar and Library, because bookmarks panel is a useless tool to manage more than 1 bookmars, unlike sidebar/Library. I haven't checked regression range btw. Note: New Mozilla course to delete any useful feature is too fast, and there's no time to document all the destruction made. I don't even see any support pages explaining the following: 1) what should user do to access recently bookmarked in sidebar and Library? 2) are you going to break the underlying technology that allows existing folders to operate?@ Dão Gottwald [:dao]: It seems that this is a regresion caused by your change. Please have a look.

I think this would be better served by an add-on that can generate places queries out of a simple form. I know there was one around that probably has been abandoned in the meanwhile. I was planning to make a webext one, not sure when but it's in my plans. that would allow to create personalized query containers, included recent bookmarks. (and as part of that plan I'd also suggest to remove any remaining default query, like "recent tags" or "most visited"). Also, I suspect Activity Stream may make these old recent UIs quite pointless.
Priority: -- → P5
The Library button now provides a very handy shortcut to recent bookmarks, and anyone can create a place: query for that, so this is now a wontfix.
