Steps to reproduce:

Open thunderbird, tap on mail in list (or open in new tab), moved finger on screen to scroll and read further in the mail text.

on ubuntu 16.04.1
Scrolling with touchpad is fine



Actual results:

Started selecting text


Expected results:

Should have scrolled in mail text.
Same should happen in mail list and folder list.

Sorry for the long delay.

Touch screen issues are generally caused by the way GTK handles input, and out of the scope of the Thunderbird
