Expected results:

It should continue playing flawlessly (as in chrome and others !)
no matter how fast/far I move the cursor,
no matter how many times I do it.

Do you see some errors in the console?
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0

I have tested this issue on Windows 10 x64 with the latest Firefox release (50.1.0) and the latest Nightly (53.0a1-20170111030235) and haven't managed to reproduce it.
After going to mixcloud.com, and playing a mix, when moving the cursor to any further locations for 10 times or more in a row, nothing happens.

Can you please retest this using the latest Firefox release and the latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).
