(Whiteboard: [project:statuspage])

We need to create the public/community portal of StatusPage and point status.m.o at it.
So for me it needs to include at the very least :
* Tree status (open close edt ..)
* Status for the following websites/services
** bugzilla
** task cluster (but that might be related to tree status)
** mdn
** wikimo
** Etherpad
** pastebin
** airmo
** hg (ssh and web)
** irc
** Auth0(?)

After that VPN access might be relevant - but restricted to NDAed users , I don't know where they fit.

Keegan do you think that would be a good scope for a v1 ?
This definitely looks like a good list Ludo.

One point of concern is that many/most of these should also be available on to the MOCO status page as well. I do not think that StatusPage makes it easy to share components across various pages so we'll need to have whatever community wants to see, show up on the public/community page and not on the LDAP restricted page so we only have to update each component in one place if manual updates are needed. Obviously this means that MOCO users would likely need to view/subscribe to the public/community pages as they see fit.

I will email the StatusPage support to validate this assumption.
After talking with Linda, it is expected that we will be updating components independently for both restricted and public status pages so comment 3 is not a concern.
Hal, Gerv: Do you have any additional feedback on things we would like to see on the future public/community facing status page? FYI, this will be the replacement status.m.o.

Ludo has proposed a pretty good list in comment 1. We could also add the Google status component which would show gmail/google groups status.

I don't think I'm the right person to ask :-) My concern is that the whole community can see the page, and it looks like this is planned, so great :-)

Tanner any input here ?

I'm going to loop in Yousef, I've not been super active lately; he'll have a better idea.

Off the top of my head:

discourse.mozilla-community.org
reps.mozilla.org
mozillians.org
Flags: needinfo?(yousef)
Group: infra
Once launched we need to run observatory on the site, get the score and remediate any failed items
This is finally live folks! We had some issues getting the SSL bits working but everything looks solid now. Closing bug.

Hi Keegan,

congrats to the public StatusPage. Very well done.

Would you still be able to add discourse.mozilla-community.org ?
It's a very important site for our community and it seems reasonable to display it's service availability on the public StatusPage.

Best regards,
   Henrik

Absolutely, sorry for missing that Henrik. I have just added it under Mozilla Websites -> Mozilla Discourse, which has a hover hint for the full URL. Let me know if you would like this text displayed differently.
