Sign-offs for SeaMonkey 2.48 (fr) is showing one warning: fr/suite/chrome/mailnews/messenger.properties trailing argument 2 `S` missing at line 343, column 28 for newMailNotification_message Compare: https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n/mozilla-beta/fr/file/tip/suite/chrome/mailnews/messenger.properties#l343 with: https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n/mozilla-beta/fr/file/tip/mail/chrome/messenger/messenger.properties#l410 newMailNotification_messages might need to be updated too. Thanks
The warning has always been here, it’s just that compare-locale can’t tell if a missing variable is acceptable or not (that’s also why it’s just a warning and not an error). In the case of https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n/mozilla-beta/fr/file/tip/suite/chrome/mailnews/messenger.properties#l343 it’s fine to remove the variable since it’s always "1", so we’re writing "one" instead. The only thing we might want to fix is the translation consistency for those strings between TB and SeaMonkey. TB translation is probably better, because it’s putting the email address at the end, so that the number of messages is never hidden.
Fixed consistency in https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n/mozilla-aurora/fr/rev/c4386c890b5e
