From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020310
BuildID: 2002031008

The files in ~/.mozilla/default/xxxxx.slt/Mail/my.account/ always keep growing :
Inbox is 70Mb but I have only a few messages in it, it's the same for Trash,
Sent, etc... : even if I delete messages in Mozilla Mail, they are not deleted
locally and my /home partition is being filled !

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.recive a (big) a mail and delete it
2.delete it from the Trash
3.the diskspace isn't freed

Expected Results: delete the mail and really free the disk space
you just select the folder and do a File | compact folder to reclaim the disk
space. Or, use the context menu to compact the folder. Or, configure Mozilla to
automatically compact your folders under Edit | Preferences | Offline & Disk Space
