Please try saving to different directories (e.g. C:\). On Win2k, I got a message saying that the file could not be saved to the Desktop, and that I should try a different directory, so I saved to C:\ and it worked. On MacOS, you might not get this dialogue, so try saving to different folders...
I didn't try to use the Desktop the first time. Now I did and also tried different volumes (that doesn't make much differences in a unix file system). Always the same result, never a dialog that is Desktop specific. Gerd
I am unable to reproduce this using Mozilla build 2002032608 and OS X 10.1.3
I updated to build 2002033008 and it works now. Change status to fixed
