Stub attribution is an optional field of telemetry pings located under `settings.attribution` and added in bug 1292360. It will be used for some form of cohort analysis related to retention. Stub attribution is currently not available from the main_summary dataset. However, this field should be available because it is necessary to scan for the fields on every applicable day. This is a slow process with raw pings. Backfill on this field may need to go back until the Firefox 50 release, 2016-11-15. A separate dataset can be formed and backfilled independently if backfill of the main_summary is costly. This dataset can then fetch the appropriate fields from the main summary once it's caught up.
