"CTRL-N" not working when loading a movie

For example go to: http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/changing_lanes.html and click on Qucktime logo to start the download. As soon as the download starts STRG-N is not working. File-New Navigator Window is working using build 2002032203 on win-xp.
Summary: "STRG-N" not working when loading a movie → "CTRL-N" not working when loading a movie
I tried this and saw that also other keyboard shortcuts did not work. As soon as you click on another place with your mouse, it works again. I think this is somehow related to the focus that is on the plugin when you click it, because if you click on the logo again, CTRL-N stops working again.
