I think this behavior only applies to WebRTC permissions (Camera, Microphone, Screen). Location access is granted once and not temporarily.

Hi Johann, As in the documentation https://goo.gl/N2PcEV, page 12, it appears that all 4 states should be displayed for Location: "Location > Allowed Location > Allowed temporarily Location > Blocked Location > Blocked temporarily". Isn't this correct? Also under the All permission set - Invision Link found on same document(https://goo.gl/N2PcEV) at section Visual Design Spec there is an example with Location set to "Allowed Temporarily". See link: https://mozilla.invisionapp.com/share/DM3XGA6YE#/screens/96290112. If this behavior does not apply for Location permission could you please update the documentation.

Hey, the documentation is technically correct, in that this was planned to happen. There are security concerns that make implementing temporary allow for geolocation more difficult than very originally expected, so we haven't done that yet. I'll check with the team whether we should make a bug for it or update the documentation.

We had discussed giving the same treatment to the geolocation API of watchPosition(), which is much more rare compared to getCurrentPosition(). There is bug 1214334 still open about that part.
