Pre-requisite: About:sync addon is installed STR: 1. Open about sync (tool> about sync) 2. In bookmarks summary observe number of bookmarks (which is incorrect and doesn't match to current available bookmarks. Please see in video) 3. Go to bookmark library and delete some bookmarks 4. Trigger sync 5. go to about sync and refresh the collection 6. Bookmarks number doesn't change Note:there is no validation error Expected: Records shows correct/updated number of bookmarks Actual: Records shows incorrect number of bookmarks. Closing and reopening of browser doesn't help in updating bookmarks number in about:sync I am able to reproduce this issue reliably on same profile. I will test this with fresh profile too. I encountered similar issue yesterday with this addon, where after adding a bookmark and sync trigger, bookmarks summary showed reduced/incorrect number of bookmarks (as it removed some bookmarks). After closing and reopening the browser, bookmarks summary set back to correct bookmarks number. This issue is intermittent and I let Mark knew about it.

I think the problem you are seeing is that bookmarks are never deleted from the server, but instead have a "deleted" flag - if you look at the server records and scroll to the right, you should see a "deleted" column. When you delete a bookmark the number of records doesn't change, but more of the existing records will now be flagged as "deleted". The next version of the addon will include the count of deleted records in the "summary" tab, which should help make this clearer.
