133231 - Special Folders "Sent", "Drafts" etc . are always created independent even if unneeded

If one sets the targets of "Sent", "Drafts" and "Templates" of one mail-account from their default location to a different location (e.g. the main imap-account), mailnews behaves correctly only until restart. This is whats happening:
1. After changing, the icons of the special folders are converted to regular folders.
2. Now, the (not any longer special) folder can be moved to "Trash" and deleted.
3. The account only have "Inbox" and "Trash".
4. This stays the same until restart.
5. After restart, the three "special" folders reappear with the special icons, however, the destinations are still correct and the "special" folders are not needed.
6. The "special" folders cannot be deleted.
BTW, this never worked correctly---it's not a regression.

can you reproduce this problem with a recent mozilla versioon like 1.1beta?

This behavior is described in relatively recent comments on bug #33235 which has
been reopened to deal with the situation.  Unfortunately, no activity is taking
place and repeated questions about this in the newsgroups have received zero
developer response.  And yes, it still is a problem on 1.1b.
