Now that the alarms seem to be working, it would be cool to allow them to play sounds, rather than just popping up a window. That way they can get my attention while I'm not near the computer. Would need to be optional because not everybody wants the noise pollution. We could start with a speaker beep or a short WAV file.

OK, the sound sucks :) but its in CVS. You can set this under Edit->Preferences. I'll make a new XPI now.
