Build ID: 20161208153507
Steps to reproduce:
cannot create a sub list with letters instead of numbers
Actual results:
What happened was this:
1) top level number item
1. sub level number item
2) top level number item 2
1. sub level number item
Expected results:
I am expecting this:
1) top level number item
a. sub level number item a
b. sub level number item b
2) top level number item 2
a. sub level number item a
b. sub level number item b
Would like to add the capability to indent a number list and it changes to letters for the secondary level

You can already to that. Select the list in question and select
Format > List properties
from the menu.
To fine-tune the HTML of the message, you can also use the add-on ThunderHTMLedit.

Sorry, but no u can't. It is not convenient nor is it same as what u can do with other email apps.
I am asking that the standard framework for lists are indent to letters or at least provide a selection similar to a multi-level list.
I know u can change the list format, but i am asking that the list, but tabbing, indents and auto numbers with a small letter.
1) header
a) sub number
b) sub

Hmm, according to comment #0 you want to do what can already be done.
Now in comment #2 you're saying that tabbing should automatically change the numbering scheme?
Can you please clarify the request and if the current system really can't do what you need, I'll reopen the bug.
