When attempting to compose a new message, or to send a page link via File->Send Link 1/2 to 2/3 of the time the To: line of the mail message is locked, not allowing typein. A work-around is to clock on the Address button which opens the address book, and then closing the address book. Typein is now allowd on the To: line.
This bug has been afflicting me for the last couple of weeks. My experience is that the first time a mail is to be composed, the address and subject lines are locked. If I kill the compose window and try again, it works fine. This happens EVERY TIME I try to compose a message, regardless of whether it's from the compose button, the send page/link menu action, or from a mailto: link on a web page.
Another work-around is to click on the Address button, and then kill the address book window. Typin is now allowed in the To: and Subjecect: fields.
related to bug 82534 ?
is this still a problem with current builds ?
