Do we need update in place, as in removing the old dino logo?  

Should we maintain both, as we're not giving up the TM for the dino?

Mary Ellen - Do you have a preference as to whether the Dino logo remains on the public trademark list? If we keep it on the list we could give it a different description.

Liz -- What are the implications of keeping it on or removing it from the list? If we keep it, we definitely should not call it the Mozilla logo.  Let's call it The Dino logo.

I think the list is intended as a convenience for others interested in our trademarks for one reason or another, it isn't a definitive list and doesn't have any legal significance. As such, it's really a matter of whether you want the dino logo to remain as something we tell the world represents Mozilla in some way.

I agree, we should probably keep the dino listed for historical reasons, and it does still appear in some forms on some properties (it's part of the MDN branding, for example), but we shouldn't call it "Mozilla logo" any more. 

What would be a better name? Maybe "Mozilla dinosaur mascot"?
