User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0
Build ID: 20170118123726
Steps to reproduce:
I click the star to add a bookmark. I try to change the name of the bookmark. Sometimes it kicks me out (I am not using a touch pad, just a mouse and keyboard). Then I have to try to re-add the bookmark and when I try to change the name of the bookmark sometimes it will turn all the text white. This has only happened today with the newest upgrade 1-24-2017 for the white text.
Actual results:
When the text is white, when you type some of the text (not all of it) will be black. I am a tech and I know there are no viruses or spyware/ransomeware on my machine.
Expected results:
1.Add a bookmark and it doesn't try to kick you out before you are done editing the bookmark name. 2. Show black text only when typing in a new bookmark name.

we fixed various related bugs recently, and I'd expect this to not happen anymore:
bug 1331798, bug 1335043, bug 1334909, bug 1294799.
Some fixed are in 52, others will be on 54.
If this still happens from Firefox 54 on, feel free to reopen.
