User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Build ID: 20170126030209 Steps to reproduce: Attempt to write in comment field (where comment is something within a post thread) Actual results: Facebook prevent text entry in comment field on user page. You are simply blocked from writing in the field. It seems like a javaScript error. Most often I notice this after those message overlays FB uses... 'XXXX just comment on ZZZ'. No special link is required and the issue is intermittent but annoyingly frequent. Should be pretty easy to confirm by any FB user. NOT tested in safe mode as yet. Expected results: Comment written
Does the bug happens in latest version of browser? It does not happens with my browser. I'm able to comment in the latest version in both nightly and firefox 47.0.2 I too not tested in safe mode. Os: Windows 10 [bugday-20170130]
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Build ID 20170130030205 Hi Yani, I am unable to reproduce the issue you are experiencing on the latest Firefox release (51.0.1) or on the latest Nightly (54.0a1). I am able to comment on posts, threads, replies; I've also tried typing in comment boxes after getting that FB notification. Could you please try to reproduce on the latest Nightly using a new, clean profile and maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings and addons as a possible cause?
