See screenshot attached. Actual results: Those numeric files are not sorted properly while files starting with characters a-z are sorted correctly. Expected results: Correct sort order, i.e. 0 < 1 < 2 < 3 ....

This may depend on the widget of your system.
That was a good hint, it seems to be a GTK issue. It occurs in all GTK windows where files are displayed and I reproduced it on different systems. Unfortunately, I could not find a solution yet although googling a while.
