When the user selects a suggested past search query (from the local search history) we want to count it as a search_historical scalar:
browser.engagement.navigation.searchbar.search_historical

"browser.engagement.navigation.searchbar" is already used for an existing scalar, i think we should not overload this (i.e. as both node & leaf).

Is this number already available through other planned measurements?
(counting different clicked search suggestions types, etc.)

They are likely accounted as normal history results, reverse parsing search urls is something we tried in the past and didn't work very well. But this is a more limited use-case than we were trying to achieve.
