Hello, Is there a missing step in your list above? For example, on eBay.ca, I can add their search engine (the main search field on eBay) just fine. Which field are you trying to add? What is the exact URL?

Hi Aaron, This has nothing to do with the main search field on ebay, you're not supposed to go to any URL, just type in the URL bar. I'm gonna attach some screen shots which are gonna explain the steps.

Thanks. This looks like a recently added new feature on Firefox 7.0 (Nightly). I missed that part in your second comment. I think this is from bug 1299535. I'll mark a dependency. Farhan, can you take a look?
