Take a look at http://n.ethz.ch/student/gullc/download/Wordwrap.jpg You can see that long event titles are neither shortened (as in the month view) nor wrapped, but they just go out of their field. I guess wrapping these titles would be the right thing to do. Usually there's plenty of space in a week field to include the description as well.

Confirming on all platforms. Week views presently suck.

You can't have wrapping and cropping text in Mozilla, so what I've done is just crop the text on the end. Its just one line for now, but in the future when Mozilla supports multiple line cropping text, we'll use that in the week view. Marking this as fixed.

It seems that word wrapping has become possible, though it isn't entirely 'clean' yet. It is described in http://www.xulplanet.com/tutorials/xulapp/moreoperations.shtml. Maybe this technique would work for us. I'm leaving this bug closed - feel free to mark it as reopened if you're interested in working on it.
