Details
As per https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/IT/KMS+%28licensing%29+client+registration I'd like to be able to connect to the KMS servers since I have Windows VMs which need to talk to KMS in order for the licences to be activated.
Many thanks!
Pete

jonas had a taskcluster-worker user created in bug 1313476. Should you be using that same id? If not, the other option is to add you to the same LDAP group or to create a new LDAP group with the same privs. NI jonas for input, since the original user was his.

From my side I'm happy to use vpn_taskcluster_kms key, if that is acceptable for mozilla too. I'm not sure activity would be traceable to me personally then, though, and if that is a requirement.
I would be using this for my personal dev VMs rather than using this vpn connection from a hosted service.
But I'm happy if I don't have to enter 2FA credentials every time I run a Windows VM. :-)
I'm not sure who has to approve me using the static key vs getting the LDAP group membership added?
Thanks!

I forwarded the key I had made to pmoore.
I got around to playing with it, but never had time to deploy it.
My intention was to use it for development and ask for a new separate user when deploying in production.
Separate user was just so that rotation and revocation would be easier.

OK, I'm happy to mark this as resolved then, as I now have access via the profile sent to me by Jonas.
Many thanks guys!
I have a separate problem with getting KMS activation to work on a local VM running Windows 7, but it worked on my Windows 10 VM, so certainly isn't a problem with the vpn profile. :-)
