I've been using devtools in a separate window, on a separate monitor from my browser window lately and found that my mouse cursor jumps over to that monitor whenever i refresh the page. It seems to happen regardless of which tab is active, and it doesn't seem to matter if I'm moving the mouse at the time. Currently running an Aurora build built from https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-aurora/rev/24a81d93e07cc96300f8e1f5c69034dd4743bd63 on Ubuntu 16.10.
I can't seem to trigger this issue on macOS, and I don't have any physical machines running Linux, so I can't really test multi-monitor there. :tromey, I believe you are using a Linux laptop. Can you reproduce this?
I tried this and couldn't reproduce it. I'm using Fedora 24 and Gnome shell. I tried it using whatever build I had handy, something rebased this morning.
:bhearsum, does it reproduce in Nightly? Are there any additional steps you can think of?
(In reply to J. Ryan Stinnett [:jryans] (use ni?) from comment #3) > :bhearsum, does it reproduce in Nightly? Are there any additional steps you > can think of? I'll give Nightly a try today. Curiously, I've been unable to reproduce in Aurora the past few days though. Comment #2 makes me wonder if this is a window manager issue, too (I use i3).
